About Italian Chamber of Commerce Industry QLD

The Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Queensland (aka ICCI Queensland) is the youngest Italian Chamber of Commerce operating in Australia. Established in 1989, it received official recognition from the Italian Government in 1995 and is part of the Assocamerestero network and works alongside 73 other Italian Chambers of Commerce in almost every country in the world. Currently serving an ever-growing number of members, associate companies and individuals, our aim is to promote and facilitate trade between Italy and Queensland.

ICCI Queensland has shown a remarkable “can do” attitude that has contributed to its growth and positioning within the wider business community making it the most pro-active international chamber of commerce in Queensland.

Your company can count on ICCI Queensland’s strong links with the worldwide network of the Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad, with close cooperation with both Italian and Australian Government bodies, and with all other industry bodies and organisations.

GLOBAL STRUCTURE
The Chambers are part of a worldwide network which is present in 48 countries with 74 Italian chambers abroad, 140 branches, 23,000 members worldwide, creating a database of approx. 270,000 contacts which are all accessible through our offices. The chambers are bodies which are recognised by the Italian Government under Law no. 518 of the 1st of July 1970.

All the Italian chambers are part of Assocamerestero, a central body of Chambers Abroad which is based in Rome. The operations of Assocamerestero are subsidised by Unioncamere, an association of another 103 Chambers of Commerce based in Italy therefore creating a massive network of 177 Italian Chambers which all operate independently but at the same time collaborate to facilitate and promote trade and exchanges on a national and international level.
